Risk warning

Trading leveraged products carries a high level of risk and can result in losses that exceed your initial deposit. It isn't suitable for everyone. Before trading you should consider whether you understand how these products work and whether you can afford to take the risk of losing your money.

What automated trading does and doesn't change

An Expert Advisor executes rules. It cannot exercise judgement, recognise that conditions have changed, or decide that today is a day to stay out. It will keep following its logic in a market it was never designed for.

Software can also fail. A platform crash, a lost connection, a broker outage, a Windows update at the wrong moment, or a configuration error can all produce results the system was never intended to produce. Running an EA on a VPS reduces some of these risks; it doesn't remove them.

You are responsible for how any EA is configured and run on your account, including which markets it trades, what position sizes it uses, and what risk settings you apply.

Backtests and past performance

Any performance information shown on this website, including backtest results and equity curves, is hypothetical. It is produced by the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester running a system against historical data. It is not a record of live trading.

Backtests do not account for every real-world condition. Live results differ because of spread variation, slippage, swap charges, execution delays, broker-specific pricing and market conditions that have not occurred before. A system that performed well historically may not do so in future, and future drawdowns can be deeper than any shown in testing.

Past performance, whether simulated or real, is not a reliable indicator of future results.

Before you run anything on real money

Test on a demo account first, for long enough to see the system behave in more than one kind of market. Understand what the EA does when a trade goes against it. Decide in advance what drawdown would make you switch it off, and write that number down before you need it.

Only trade with money you can genuinely afford to lose.

If trading is causing you harm

If trading is causing you financial difficulty or affecting your wellbeing, stop and get support. In the UK, free and independent debt advice is available from StepChange and from Citizens Advice. If trading has started to feel compulsive, GamCare provides free, confidential support.
